- Co-translation of the Insurgency LK into Polish, with the Insurgency.pl (community site) team
- Updating of the new Polish translation with new/changed text with each patch, as well as publishing of the localization package via the Steam Workshop
Video Games Digital Distribution Platform
Muve Digital is the first ever Polish, custom-made digital software distribution platform, and is incorporated into the Muve.pl e-store. Muve Digital has also been localized for, and launched in, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, with an additional International English option.
I was responsible for the following key areas of the project:
- Designing the distribution pipeline (from product addition, through purchase to game download and installation), including the Muve Digital CMS module design, content distribution network design, game downloader application co-design (mostly with regards to security functions and ease-of-use considerations)
- CDN access and maintenance security policy, including choosing the hardware and software for the Muve CDN infrastructure and downloader application
- Securing the services of a server housing provider and negotiating prices
- Choosing and characterizing the security measures necessary to ensure maximum data security and error-free implementation of the entire Muve Digital solution
- Certification of Muve Digital security policies (data warehousing and processing security, data access and transfer security, perimeter security) [office and data sites alike] with a range of Publishers
- Developing new features, with a strong emphasis on data security and ease of use for the Muve Downloader application

Established in 2002, the Polskie Centrum NHL (Polish NHL Center) is the oldest and most well-regarded source of news, editorials, podcasts and professional NHL hockey-related analysis in the Polish language.
I am a proud co-founder of the website, one of its staff writers and the main technical administrator for both the website itself and the community forums. The site receives 55,000 hits and almost 7,000 repeat visitors each month. Our forums have over 3,100 registered members and consist of more than 225,000 posts.
We work as a non-profit, with all costs (domain, hosting, forums, license and marketing expenses) covered with our own money that we earn elsewhere. Our aim is to provide Polish fans with up-to-date, reliable, authored news from around the NHL, and to popularize the sport of ice hockey in Poland, especially through our pro-reader and pro-community approach.

I provided the Localization Department Manager with help in over two dozen different task types, including management of small localization projects, localization assets management, cataloguing and backup, lLinguistic QA, smoke testing of builds, development of department-specific online tools (online localization assets catalogue), verification of LK completeness and correctness (linguistics, formatting etc) and more.

Rendering technical support to customers (personally, via e-mail, snail mail and telephone) with issues buying, installing and/or using games distributed in Poland by Cenega. I also provided technical consultation to customers, mostly on PC hardware upgrades and purchasing of game peripherals. I also handled complaints and game returns, as well as shipping of PC/console game preview and review versions (for the Marketing Dept.) to over two dozen gaming journalists at a time.

I was responsible for content management and development of the company's website, as well as development of new website functionality with PHP and MySQL. I also provided IT Helpdesk support to employees – mostly hardware and software maintenance and updates/upgrades, administration of the company’s local domain and MS Exchange server, and management and further development of the company’s Intranet platform (content, functionality and hardware).

I worked as a localization tester and partially as a translator at EA’s UK office in Chertsey, Surrey on Anno 1503 and then back in Poland on SimCity 4: Rush Hour.

I was a journalist for several online sites, writing previews, reviews and game guides, primarily for PC games. I also wrote several gaming hardware reviews.
